ATM Point
An app that streamlines the process of finding nearby ATMs and calculating withdrawal fees, providing a convenient solution for users in need of quick cash access.
Context & Challenge
ATMs are an essential component of modern banking, and for many people, quick and easy access to cash is an essential aspect of their daily lives. However, finding an ATM that is both close by and meets the user's specific needs can be a challenge. The process often involves searching through numerous websites, calling banks, or checking bank apps, all of which can be time-consuming and cumbersome. The objective of the ATM Point was to simplify this process by providing a single platform where users could easily find and access the ATMs that meet their specific needs, whether that be finding an ATM open at a specific time, a specific bank, or both.
Additionally, it was also important to provide users with an easy way to calculate fees associated with cash withdrawals, as these fees can often vary depending on the bank, the amount withdrawn, and other factors. By incorporating a fee calculator, the ATM Point app aimed to provide users with a more informed and convenient experience, allowing them to make informed decisions about their cash withdrawals and avoid unexpected fees.
Overall, the challenge was to create a mobile app that would make it easier for users to find and access ATMs, and provide them with an easy way to calculate fees, thus simplifying the process of finding and accessing cash.

User Research
To understand the needs and pain points of potential users, I conducted user interviews with individuals who frequently use ATMs. I asked questions about their current experience finding ATMs, the information they look for when choosing an ATM, and any issues they encounter when withdrawing money. Additionally, I observed users navigating through similar app experiences and recorded their interactions and feedback.
Analysis of the collected data revealed common pain points such as difficulty in locating ATMs, lack of information about fees, and inefficiency in filtering through the options available. This information helped me identify key features and design decisions that would make the app more user-friendly and efficient.
Based on the findings, I created a user persona that represented the typical ATM user and used it as a reference throughout the design process to ensure that the app met the needs of its target audience.

User Flow
User research has enabled me to create a user flow for the app that makes navigation easy and provides quick access to essential features. The Map Screen allows users to quickly and easily find ATMs nearby, while the Filter Screen gives them the option to filter the banks and view only ATMs that are open now or of a particular bank. Additionally, users can view the detailed ATM’s information and calculate fees via the ATM Screen, making it easier to manage their finances. I have designed user flow to be minimalistic and intuitive, ensuring users can access its features quickly and conveniently, resulting in a simple and efficient experience.

Wireframes
To bring the design vision of the app to life and ensure its usability, I created low-fidelity wireframes that showcase the app's interface and user flow. These wireframes served as a foundation for testing and refining my design ideas, before moving on to the high-fidelity design phase. The following sketches showcase the final representation of the wireframes and provide a clear picture of how users will interact with the app.

Visual Design
With user feedback and refined wireframes in hand, I moved on to the high-fidelity phase, bringing the app's design to life with vibrant graphics and detailed interfaces. This section showcases the end result of the design process, highlighting the app's user-friendly and efficient interface.

Summary
In conclusion, this project has provided valuable insights and taught me several valuable lessons. From user research, I gained insight into the needs and pain points of potential users, which guided my design choices. Wireframing allowed me to test and iterate on my ideas, while the high-fidelity design phase brought the app to life with a user-friendly and efficient interface. Overall, the outcomes of this project reinforced the importance of user-centered design and iterative design approach in delivering a successful product.
